We attended the musical West Side Story at the Torrance Theater--very fine performance with some of Nan's friends. It's a small theater (about 500), but very nice.
After eating at Dinah's Restaurant last week with their famous Apple Pancakes--which tastes closer to apple pie--and Nan being an excellent gormet cook, we searched online and found a dutch apple pancake recipe! We might change a few things in the recipe (now a closely guarded family secret), but they were still very good for a first try.
