Right next to the museum is the Airport K-9 (Dog) headquarters. True to the California nature, when we were out looking at the DC-3, one K9 wandered out of the kennel area, found a nice sunny spot in the pen, and gently laid down for his mid morning nap. I dunno, maybe he works the night shift or somethin'! I was 20 feet from him, and he didn't bother to notice me. Of course, he didn't have his work colar on either!
